About this policy
BluePlan Consulting Pty Ltd (ABN 15 692 006 723) provides town planning and project management services in Queensland. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, property address (if provided) and the details you give us about your project. If you contact us by email or phone, or engage us for services, we may also collect your phone number, company details, site documents and billing information.
Website data
When you visit the website, basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view may be recorded automatically to operate and secure the website. We do not use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, prepare fee proposals, provide and manage the services you engage us for, issue invoices, keep business records and meet our legal obligations. We will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you ask us to, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We only share your information where you agree, where it is needed to deliver services you have engaged us for (for example, lodging an application with Council or coordinating with your consultants), or where the law requires it. We also use trusted service providers, such as our website host and our email and cloud storage providers, who may store information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We never sell personal information.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above or required by law, and then securely delete or de-identify it.
Access and correction
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing contact@blueplanconsulting.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.
Complaints
If you have a privacy concern, please email us first and we will work with you to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
